Bandung, December 15, 2025 - Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung has officially announced the end of their collaboration with Antoni Erga on Friday, December 12, 2025, via the club's official Instagram account, @satriamuda.id. Joining since the end of 2021, Erga has been a crucial part of the team's journey, both on and off the court.

During his time with Satria Muda, the player from Bangka Belitung contributed to various club achievements, including winning the 2022 IBL Championship title, as well as appearing as a finalist in the 2022 Indonesia Cup and the 2024 IBL Tokopedia Finals. On a national level, Erga was also trusted to represent the Indonesian National Team, including participating in the Training Camp in Las Vegas, USA, in 2021.

Antoni Erga expressed his gratitude for the opportunities and process he went through with Satria Muda.

"For me, being able to wear the Satria Muda jersey is a great honor. Not every player gets the opportunity to play and develop in a club as big as Satria Muda. During my time here, I learned many things. Not just about basketball, but also about professionalism, discipline, and how to be part of a team with very high standards. All those processes made me grow as a player and as a person, and for that, I am very grateful," said Erga, recalling his struggles over the past four years.

The young athlete, born in 2000, also stated that this decision was made after careful consideration and was an agreement between both parties, the individual and the club.

"The decision to move on to the next phase in my career was made mutually, with good communication and mutual respect. I feel this is the right time for me to seek new challenges and start a fresh start, while carrying all the lessons and values I gained during my time with Satria Muda," Erga continued.

In addition to his career on the court, Antoni Erga is also known as a figure who balanced his athletic career and education. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering at Satya Wacana Christian University (UKSW) in 2021, reflecting his commitment to holistic self-development. This aligns with the values that Satria Muda strives to uphold for its players.

Youbel Sondakh, the former coach who is now the Sports Director of Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung, also expressed sadness over the separation.

"Erga came as a young player with great potential and showed consistent development. He was able to adapt to the culture and demands of Satria Muda. He experienced the process of building a team, navigating the dynamics of competition, and finally winning the championship title together in the 2022 season. These experiences shaped him into a more mature player, both technically and mentally," Youbel said.

"We appreciate every contribution he made while wearing the Satria Muda jersey. What he went through here, starting from the most recent one being the struggle of the transition to Bandung, the struggles in the competitive seasons, to the team's achievements, will be important provisions for his next career step. We wish Erga the very best on his next journey," Youbel added, responding positively to Erga's decision this time.

While defending Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung, Antoni Erga contributed to various team agendas and achievements. He was part of the squad that successfully won the 2025 IBL All Indonesian Champion title in Bandung, and was also included in the roster that participated in a sparring agenda with POPNAS West Java in the Perbasi Cup Kota Bandung event, as part of efforts to develop and collaborate on basketball at the regional level.

"I also really enjoyed Bandung as a comfortable city to live in, with such wide and extraordinary fan support. Good luck to the City of Bandung; I hope it continues to achieve brilliant success because the City of Bandung is the Home of Champions," Erga's wish for the City of Bandung.

"I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the management, coaches, staff, teammates, and of course, the entire Satria Muda family who have always provided support. Satria Muda will always be an important part of my career journey. Whatever my steps are moving forward, the experiences and lessons learned at this club will always stay with me," Erga concluded, ending his farewell.

Managing Director of Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung, Christian Ronaldo Sitepu, also conveyed his best wishes for Erga. "We thank you for all the contributions and dedication Erga has given during his time with Satria Muda. We wish him the best for his future career steps and hope he continues to develop wherever he is."

See you when we see you, Erga! Good luck! (SAM
