Bandung, December 31, 2025 – Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung announces that Mario Davidson will not be continuing with the team for the 2026 competitive season. The Semarang-born Point Guard (b. 2002) concludes his journey with Satria Muda after serving as part of the squad throughout the 2025 season.
This decision was reached following a comprehensive evaluation process that considered both the team’s developmental direction and the player’s career needs. The management of Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung views professional dynamics as an inherent part of every athlete’s journey, particularly in determining the best path forward for both parties.
Sport Director Youbel Sondakh expressed his appreciation for Mario’s contribution and professionalism during his tenure with the team. “Every decision is made through careful evaluation and mutual respect. Mario has shown a great willingness to keep learning. We thank him for his dedication while with Satria Muda and wish him the very best for his future career development,” said Christian Ronaldo Sitepu.
Mario Davidson expressed his gratitude for the opportunity he received while playing for Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung.
“I am very grateful to have been a part of Satria Muda. I gained many valuable lessons here, both professionally and personally. Satria Muda will always be an important part of my career journey, and I wish the best for this team moving forward,” Mario stated.
He also shared his impressions of the basketball atmosphere in Bandung, which he found deeply memorable. “The basketball atmosphere in Bandung is incredible—supportive and full of enthusiasm. This experience has given me a lot of insight and motivation to continue growing in the world of professional basketball.”
In the 2025 season, Mario Davidson held rookie status at Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung. However, he is no stranger to national competition. Mario previously gained experience in the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) as part of the Indonesia Patriots roster during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
