Bandung, November 7, 2025 - Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung has officially announced that Kelvin Sanjaya will not be continuing his career with the club for the upcoming season.
Kelvin has been a nurtured player in the Satria Muda system since 2018, before officially being signed as part of the main team. His consistent development led to his selection to represent the Indonesian National Team in the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers 2020 against South Korea. The following year, 2021, Kelvin was also part of the INA Patriots program, as a form of his contribution to national basketball.
After undergoing several tournaments, the 201 cm tall basketball player made his professional debut as a professional basketball player in Indonesia's top basketball league, the IBL competition with Satria Muda on January 15, 2022, when facing Pelita Jaya Bakrie.
In 2023, he then decided to join Prawira Bandung and played for the team for two seasons, before returning to Satria Muda Bandung in the middle of the 2025 season.
Although his second stint in Bandung was brief, lasting only about three months. Undeniably, his contribution to the team was still felt, both on the court and in the overall team dynamics.
Christian Ronaldo Sitepu, Managing Director of Satria Muda Bandung, expressed his appreciation for Kelvin's dedication while defending the club. "Of course, representing the club, we thank Kelvin for his commitment, hard work, and professionalism during his time as part of the extended Satria Muda family. He is a disciplined figure and always shows a high competitive spirit."
A similar sentiment was conveyed by Youbel Sondakh, Head Coach of Satria Muda Bandung. "Kelvin is a young player who has a high fighting spirit and dedication to keep learning. Although brief, his presence among us brought a positive impact and served as an example for other young players."
"Upon rejoining us, we deeply appreciate all of his contributions and hope that he continues to grow in his next step," said Youbel.
On this farewell occasion, Kelvin Sanjaya also conveyed a warm message for the management of Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung and for the City of Bandung, which he has represented for the past two years.
"Thank you very much, Satria Muda and also the City of Bandung! I hope Satria Muda and the City of Bandung as a whole will always be successful in the future. I am very grateful to have been welcomed with open arms. I truly appreciate all the love and support I received during my time here. See you again, with a better version of myself!" said Kelvin.
